Batuwangala e-village activities are conducted in the Batuwangala Navodya Maha Vidyalaya’s computer lab. Now BMV has its own data bank. This is based on Thibus school management software provided by the ministry of education. Using this data base one can access and store information according to his or her privilege level. Principal of Batuwangala Maha Vidyalaya monitors this process and Mr.Aruna Chaminda is the in charge. This data base consists entire information on participating children’s’ activities and each particular to one student  will have his or her own set of information and  when the child leaves the school he or she will be given automatically generated certificates which are now manually finished by the principal.

Chandi Roshika, Madhushika, Harshini, Manojika, Sagari, and Kanchana from Batuwangala e-village entered the data to the data base and all of them are 2008 OL students. They were the first batch of Batuwangala e-village. They finished the computer course provided by the Batuwangala e-village and most of them have web sites and their own blogs.
